Rosboro BigBeam®- 30F high-strength glulam BigBeam, an I-joist compatible beam, is raising the level of quality in newly built homes and lowering overall construction costs. Rosboro BigBeam  is stronger then many other BigBeam and less expensive.  It  is available with an industrial wood preservative and water-repellent treatment. Permapost K-8 is the treatment used. It is an industrial wood preservative and water-repellent treatment containing solubized copper-8-quinolinolate, which provides chemical resistance to insects, decay, mold, mildew and bacterial growths. It is clean, non-swelling, non-leaching, and non-corrosive treatment.

Rosboro BigBeam allows builders to strengthen floor systems and other conventional framing projects. It has been inspected and certified by APA/EWS and has been approved by all of the industry's leading organizations (LA City, ICBO, BOCA, SBCCI).

Rosboro BigBeam is manufactured to the APA/EWS Framing Appearance Standard, intended for use in framing applications where appearance is not critical. Rosboro BigBeam is touch-sanded or planed after gluing to assure proper width tolerances.
