The LT70 Series has been  the demands of the . The head is constructed to be exceptionaly durable and dependable and features 600 mm pulley wheels and roller double block guides. Mill alignment and maintenance requirements have been reduced to a minimum.
Accuset, AutoClutch and LubeMizer are standard on the LT70 Series.
The addition of our material handling options can significantly increase productivity, while still keeping all the advantages of our narrow and thin kerf band technology.
The LT70 Series is often bought by existing Wood-Mizer owners who now need higher production levels, and also by existing entrepreneurs in the timber industry who realise the value of the increased productivity, yield and returns generated by the LT70 technology.

  STANDARD FEATURES 

 

600mm Belted Wheels
The 600mm belted wheels have been designed to allow the use of the Wood-Mizer 1.4mm thick blade without compromising blade life.

Roller Double Block Blade Guides
The Roller/Block Blade Guides combine maximum blade stability with minimal maintenance.
       

Air Bag Blade Tensioner
Provides constant tension to the blade as well as significantly reducing blade vibration and hock, thus improving blade life and cut accuracy.

Centrifugal Clutch
The centrifugal clutch system increases productivity and reduces operator fatigue in high throughput applications.
       

Blade Guide Arm Assembly
The robust and rigid construction is easy to align and is more than able to cope with the demands of production sawmilling.

Lube Mizer
Pressure pulse system keeps blade clean and lubricated, increasing overall blade performance. Comes standard with the LT70.
       

Accuset 
Accuset significantly increases the operational flexibility provided by PLC Setworks. In addition to 16 programmable memories for board thickness, the system also has four operational modes.

    Facilitate quick blade changes and are easy to close and fasten.

  • Air bag blade tensioning:
    Improved blade tension consistency in all cutting conditions.

  • Large cam follower bearings:
    7.5 cm diameter bearings used on the topside. Dual saddle bearing arrangement on the operator side yields increased bearing life.

  • Trailer package:
    Includes adjustable outriggers as standard with fully complaient trailer specifications.

  • LubeMizer:
    The LubeMizer system helps melt away sap with ease. It features an adjustable electronic flow controller and pump that applies a special lubricating solution to both sides of the blade. LubeMizer additive can be used in samll amounts for "clean" species or can be used continously to present seap build-up on the blade when cutting very resinors species.
